Seattle Chihuly Glass:

Inside the Chihuly Exhibit, visitors are transported into a world of wonder and imagination. The exhibition spaces showcase Chihuly's diverse body of work, from his early experimental pieces to his more recent large-scale installations.

The centerpiece of the exhibit is the Glasshouse, a stunning structure that houses a massive suspended sculpture known as the Fiori di Como. This extraordinary piece consists of thousands of hand-blown glass pieces arranged in a cascading formation that fills the entire space. The interplay of light and color as it passes through the glass creates a mesmerizing display that changes throughout the day.

Another notable feature of the exhibit is the Blue Poles installation, inspired by the works of Jackson Pollock. This dynamic piece combines Chihuly's mastery of glass with Pollock's abstract expressionist style, resulting in a bold and energetic composition.

The exhibit also includes a series of Macchia installations, named after the Italian word for "stain." These works feature vibrant, organic shapes that seem to float within their enclosures, creating a sense of movement and fluidity.
