Today, our collection includes over 3,000 objects, including rare examples of Sandwich glass, tools, and equipment used in the glassmaking process, and historical documents.

The Boston & Sandwich Glass Company is founded by Deming Jarves and other investors. The company establishes its first glass factory in Sandwich, Massachusetts, attracted by the town's abundant supply of sand, forests for fuel, and access to shipping routes.
